Do you have a well thought-out, strategic program plan? Or do you find yourself muddling along with programs that might be outdated in content or delivery? Are you not sure how to evaluate current programs, and do you question if you are ready for future program expansion? Do you wish your organization had more variety when it comes to your program offerings, but aren’t really sure where to start? Are you worried your “one size fits all” approach is no longer making an impact or attracting the same attention as it used to? It’s time to think strategically about programs.

Please join nonprofit expert Linda Lysakowski as she helps you develop an overall strategic programming plan that incorporates your mission, vision, and values. She will help you align your offerings with your nonprofit’s long-term objectives by introducing tools to evaluate community needs and methods for strategically designing programs that meet those needs. She will also help you think about opportunities to create new programs that serve a different niche while you examine what existing programs to nurture and which to eliminate. This webinar will take you through the step-by-step process of building and maintaining strong, diverse, and sustainable programs that help support and grow your nonprofit.

Just a sampling of what this webinar will cover:

  • Do your programs fit in with your strategic plan (or, do you even have a strategic plan)?
  • Surveying your community to find out what the community needs are (you might be surprised)
  • Do you have the resources to meet these needs—staff, volunteers, facility, technology, funding?
  • If not, how will you acquire those resources?
  • Can you partner with other nonprofits, and maybe even for-profits, to deliver programs?
  • How will you assess the results of your program?
  • Why is strategic programming important?
  • Using evaluation tools to strengthen your programs
  • Understanding the importance of variety
  • Identifying opportunities and approaches to reach new audiences
  • Determining when to terminate a program
